About Me
We welcomed Denise to Pooh Corner in 2000 as a floater after 8 years with the Philadelphia Head Start program. It didn’t take long to see that Denise was a good fit with the toddlers. She became an assistant teacher in the Transition program and held that position for 13 years. In 2013, Denise joined the Infant/toddler program as an assistant teacher. In her four years in the infant/Toddler program, she continued to show such love and caring for the toddlers and her understanding and knowledge of their development grew immensely. “In addition to her knowledge of children, Denise is adept at group management and staff relations and keeps all the balls up in a busy program of 18 infants and toddlers and 6 staff”.
